To support The General Manager of Radio Design Wireless Communication Technology (Wuxi) Co. Ltd and the Radio Design Senior Management Team in all aspects of strategic planning and business support. The post holder will be required to be involved in the production of and critically analyses Key Performance Indicators. The Post holder will be responsible for providing transactional processing and management, preparing management accounts and administrative support in order to ensure efficient, accurate and timely financial reporting and administrative operations.

· The post holder will act as point of contact with Chinese local, regional and national government and will represent and promote the best interests of the Radio Design organisation.

· The Post holder will interface with Chinese agencies, customers and suppliers in all matter of negotiation in conjunction with the General Manager of Radio Design Wireless Communication Technology (Wuxi) Co. Ltd

· The post holder will interface with the local CPA to ensure a good service is received and that financial documents are prepared and provided in a timescale determined by Radio Design.

· The post holder will work with the Radio Design Financial Director to provide financial information as requested, support in audits, etc.

· The post holder will be responsible for the implementation of the Radio Design Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management system. In particular a lead will be taken on securing ISO9001 and 14001 certification for the Wuxi site.

· To be responsible for day to day business administration with support from local HWS administrator.

· To manage local Personnel contracts and staff handbooks etc.

· To interface with local legal counsel on behalf of Radio Design.

· To provide translation facility for key Radio Design documentation

· Assisting with the Sales Invoicing Process including the generation and control of VAT invoices using the statutory Golden Tax System

· Verifying input VAT invoices using the statutory online tax platform

· Preparation and submission of all tax returns (VAT, income tax, stamp duty, property tax, etc.) and other statutory returns on a timely basis including resolving outstanding issues to prevent loss of potentially recoverable tax

· Preparation of monthly management accounts and other monthly reporting including reconciliations for financial accounts and maintaining appropriate supporting schedules

· Accounts payable and cash flow management including reconciliation of payments and receipts

· Ensuring all business licenses and certificates are valid and applying for renewals or additional licenses as and when necessary

· Credit Control Activities including chasing overdue accounts and providing support for customer queries

· Various ad hoc reporting requirements to support business analysis

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

· Possession of tax accountant license

· At least 2 years previous experience working in a fast paced environment

· Experience of standard Chinese accounting package software such as Kingdee or UFIDA

· Experience of designing and using Excel functions for reconciliations and support for account balances

Business Development

· Once the extent and workload of the Business Support role is determined and working well it is likely that the role will extend to include Business Development. Initially with regard to HWS but potentially also for new products.

· The post holder will work on maintenance of existing customer base to maximise sales opportunities with the established relationships.

· As new Opportunities are identified contacts and business levels to be identified and converted in to sales.

· This part of role will directed from the Sales team in the UK.

· The responsibilities of this role need some further definition and will be agreed once the candidate has been working with Radio Design for a short period of time so as not to distract from the main role of Business Support.
