General Function:

Schedule components, goods, and services wherein requirements or specifications are well defined to support production.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Regular MRP check to load updated customer demand for components, and release on-time demand and forecast schedule to suppliers to guarantee 100% OTD (on-time-delivery).

· Deliveries follow-up in terms of forecasting, scheduling, goods collection, boat tracking, arrival tracking, receiving tracking and payment issues coordination.

· Regular capacity-investigation with suppliers to foresee problems with capacity planning, and take proper countermeasures if necessary.

· Track suppliers' delivery performance and work closely with Supply Chain for problem solving and continual improvement.

· Analyze and maintain inventory levels. Follow company rules to always optimize inventory level to meet targets, by defined materials planning process, deliveries frequency, minimum ordering quantity, standard delivery lot, and safety stock setting.

· When suppliers' shipment cannot meet production schedule due to short lead times from suppliers, production, machine, or any other problems, take action to get handshake agreement from the people who are affected by the change.

· Material planning for prototype, validation productions of new projects.

· Enter and review purchase orders for accuracy. Ensure accuracy of purchase orders on system (delivery date, price, print, drawing, revisions, etc.).

Essential Responsibilities (continued)

· Upon request from Production Scheduler, evaluate any production expedites or move-out based on supplier's production capacity and lead time, and give feedback within the same work day. Goods must be under well-defined specifications and standards and within authorized ceiling.

· Coordinate with internal/external Traffic people for special cartage.

· Advice and update suppliers' lead times as required.

· Advise Production Scheduler and/or Production Manager of any potential major supplier problems that could adversely affect the supply of components to IMMI.

· Maintain data integrity in Oracle system.

Basic Qualifications:

EDUCATION

Must hold a College Degree and a University Degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of three years of experience in Material Plan, Product Material Control, Purchase, or related experience.

CERTIFICATIONS

None required.

? Good written and oral communication skills required.

? Must be able to contribute overtime as required to complete projects in a timely manner

? Must have a working knowledge in computer sciences to operate in a Windows environment using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

? Oracle experience is desired.
