Our client, a Fortune 500 company, is established in 1966 with headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. They are a global leader in the Electronic Manufacturing Services EMS industry, offering innovative solutions to world leading electronics companies in the aerospace, automotive, computing, consumer, defense, instrumentation, medical, networking, peripherals, storage and telecommunications markets. They offer circuit design, board design from schematic, mechanical and production design, product realization services, product research and development, testing prototype assembly, volume board assembly, system assembly, enclosure services, direct fulfillment, repair and warranty services from over 40 facilities in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Position Industrial Engineering Manager
The IE Manager is the site technology leader of our clients manufacturing processes and systems, which is designed to deliver superior performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Supports Operations business development effort with current and potential customers, and development implementation of both site and global IE strategies.
Responsible for the establishment of optional manufacturing methods and processes for the organizations production lines.
Lead and motivate a large group of Engineers whose primary responsibility is to define and implement complete manufacturing processes.
Provide ongoing review of the effective utilization of equipment, production methods, equipment layout, personnel, and material flow.
Provide exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders.
Requirements
Bachelors degree preferred.
4 years of related experience in the electronics manufacturing industry with Industrial Engineering principles and processes.
2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent.
Or a combination of education, experience and or training.
