Responsibility:

1 Responsible for strategic supply base development to improve company's supply base in China.
2 On-site supplier development, maintaining and improving procedures and
Process design, driving quality and productivity improvements at existing
supplier.
3 Assessing new potential suppliers, working with new technology and new products launch.
4 Develop training modules and deliver trainings at supplier side.
5 Support teams to identify new suppliers in alignment with new product performance requirements; actively participate in sourcing decision, making review with commodity teams.
6 Support cross-functional launch team design /manufacturability supplier review meetings to ensure form, fit and function of the product assembly design.
7 Support global purchasing needs during suppliers transitions, rationalization and localization programs.
8 Support commodity and application teams for resourcing and follow up of supplier safe launch of production.
9 Support plants and business on major Quality and logistics Suppliers issues.
10 Assist development of required manufactured processes, control plans and discipline in quality to ensure growth and increase of business. Maintains OE delivery standards and cost competiveness.
11 Partner of sourcing teams to identify potential quality suppliers and develop them in top quality suppliers of required Motion Technologies products.
12 Establish process for identification of cost reduction opportunities and define sharing of benefits while ensuring execution of plan without impact on quality performance.

Requirements:

1 Bachelor degree with Mechanical or Industrial Engineering major or relevant.
2 3 to 5 years' experience in supplier development, preferably in automotive manufacturing and SQA experience.
3 Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement tools and processes , demonstrated sustainability.
4 Experience with supplier assessment and audits, ISO TS16949 or ISO 9001 knowledge desired.
5 APQP tools, FMEAS,gage R&R studies (metrology),SPC technics, control plan training and practical experience preferred.
6 Strong team player with proven ability to work effectively on cross functional teams.
7 Excellent communication skills , verbal and written English.
8 Ability to travels and remains at supplier sites for extended periods.
