Main objectives
1. The Key Account Manager is responsible for business relationship between key customers and Kongsberg Automotive.
2. This position manages all aspects of that relationship by ensuring that all transactions between KA and the customers are consistent and communicated with a single voice.
3. The primary goal of the position is to lead and achieve the tactical implementation of the KA strategy for the Key customers managed.

Areas of responsibility

Strategic responsibilities:
1. Develop, own and update customer roadmaps to support KA strategic planning.

General Responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain good relationship with decision makers and key personnel at the customers.
2. Establish win strategies for key business targets, establishing pricing objectives, key values and ensuring that the commercial proposal (price) satisfies KA fiscal objectives.
3. Develop and present/lead the presentation of KA communications to the customer, auto shows etc.
4. Establish and maintain a network to manage commercial, technical, quality and delivery issues between KA and the customer.
5. Enable senior management relationship to be established/maintained between KA and the customer.
6. Manage the Quotation process and contract review.
7. Support the project managers of any commercial issues

Personal tasks
1. Represent all KA Interior Systems product groups at the customers
2. Manage the primary commercial interface between customers and KA
3. Understand and deploy the Strategic objectives of KA IS at the customers

EXPERIENCE
1. Five to seven years of relevant industry experience in a commercial role interfacing with major OEMs and Tier 1 part suppliers in China
2. Ability to manage and influence a cross functional team with indirect authority
3. Entrepreneurial, results-oriented professional who has demonstrated success in building business where product development and marketing provide unique growth opportunities in the marketplace.
4. Significant experience in providing business commercial strategy direction in a highly competitive environment.
5. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
6. Superb negotiator
7. Structured thinker and problem solver
