Responsibilities:
1. Interpret OEM specification in terms of surface design
2. Develop an understanding of the end product needs in terms of visual aesthetic parameters, engineering constraints, manufacturability, and importability
3. Generate ideas to meet OEM brief through brainstorming and thought showers (divergent thinking)
4. Fine tune details and dimensions of the aesthetic design (2D or 3D)
5. Refine texture, colour, shading, angle, contour
6. Ensure adherence with legal compliance regarding dimensions and radii as directed by product engineering
7. Consider manufacturing and production compliance as directed by product engineering
8. Work collaboratively with suppliers, product engineers and program managers to clarify and refine design details
9. Develop a clear understanding of OEM designer requirements
10. Implement OEM suggestions for modification or improvement
11. Present styling design to internal team for critique
12. Other work assigned by the Manager

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above with the major in industrial design or relevant discipline
2. At least 5-year in similar role
3. Class A Surfacing experience in Autodesk Alias
4. Digital sketching - Adobe products - use sketching tablet
5. 2D and 3D integration
6. Understanding of 3D modeling and interface between CAD
