Mission
To further strength Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental (SHE) management, we are looking for a SHE Manager, who will report directly to the General Manager. Your main responsibility will be:
- Provide both strategic & professional advice on the full range of Safety, Health & Environment for the business and all its activities on site.
- Monitor the Safety, Health & Environment performance for the operations, to ensure they are aligned on all strategic Safety, Health & Environment initiatives, in order that continuous improvement in Safety, Health & Environment performance is achieved
- Identify common Safety, Health and Environmental hazards inherent in the operations, and establish guidelines for protection from those hazards.
- Improve SHE awareness and define SHE responsibilities for both management and employees including developing of relative performance measurement indicators.
- Lead or participate in various types of SHE compliance and/or management system audits to ensure alignment and compliance with local, national and the Corporate requirements.
- On site inspection and program evaluation, tracking the action plan to close gaps during the audit.
- Maintain and keep good relationship with relative government departments.
- Determine systems to analyze, act and report on hazards, first aid, incidents and accidents.
- Take lead in organizing SHE training and preside the SHE council.
- Initiate, co-ordinate and follow-up of internal and external reporting, eg. EMS, Environmental, Sustainability, ...
Experience requirements
At least 5 years experience in safety, health and environment fields in Multinational Industry enterprise, and prove track record of Safety management experience will be a plus
Knowledge
- Familiar with SHE related regulations and laws
- Mandarin mother tongue and excellent knowledge of English both oral and writing.
- Computer skills(MS-office)
Educational requirements
Bachelor degree in SHE, Engineering or related area
Personality requirements
- Customer-oriented: A very positive attitude towards prompt customer response and in establishing a good relationship both internally and externally.
- Result driven: take result-oriented action with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate people.
