Job responsibility:
- Develop and formulate Quality Engineering strategic plans and objectives to achieve the overall company goals.
- Provide leadership and serve as a role model within the Quality Engineering.
- Work with Manufacturing and support Team and related parties to drive for Quality Improvement.
- Maintain a tracking system for all customer incidents and ensure effective corrective action reports are submitted in a timely manner.
- Maintain a system of ensuring all quality practices are in compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Monitor quality trend and adjust quality plans to go in line with the company objectives.
- Initiate and monitor quality improvement activities to prevent occurrence of product non-conformity.
- Monitor performance/projects and develop/implement plans to meet the company's goals and objectives for Quality Engineering Team.
- Standardization of plant-wide controlled documentation
- Alignment of documentation requirement to meet ISO/TS16949 requirement plant-wide
- Lead core team for Improvement plans/projects to enhance QMS
- Coordinate QMS requirement with OS Germany and responsible for implementation in Pen
- Ensure internal procedure and practices are align with any ISO/TS upgraded requirement plant-wide
- Conduct 5 stages of Business process review and performance rating followed by internal system audit
- Direct involvement in Audit and certification by BVC for the annual TS16949 Audit.
- Carry out all business activities within OSRAM Penang in accordance with all legal EHS requirements and company's Environmental, Health and Safety Policies
- Ensure that the hazardous chemicals used, air emission, wastewater discharge, general wastes, scheduled wastes, noise or any health and safety hazards arising as a result of the process, products, activities and/or services within his/her own department are handled in accordance with relevant legal requirements.
- Ensure relevant legal permits/license required for any equipment or hazardous chemical in his/her business operations are obtained and to be the responsible permit/license holder and to be legally responsible, failing to do so.
- Provide or ensure EHS training for their staff on regular basis to increase the awareness and competency among them.

Job requirement:
- Bachelor degree or above
- Good at English communication in oral & writing
- Over 8 years in quality field and over 3 years management experience
- Familiar with quality system
