Main Responsibilities:

- Joint managerial responsibility Planning, Optimization and Control of the results from materials & services to maximize the OM in the area of responsibility.

- Human Resources Management selection, management, assessment and promotion of employees in the area of responsibility to ensure long-term corporate success with competent and motivated staff.

- Lead Supplier QRQC to continuously improve the quality level of suppliers.

- Valeo-wide purchasing strategy support with Group Lead Buyer organization (including responsibility of maintaining actual SAP prices based on buyer information) being member of their decision board to define the Buyer goals and it's fulfillment to the needs of the local organization.

- Local purchasing strategies and project support. Initiation of purchasing processes, pinpointing approaches to problem-solving, integration of various objectives to secure local objectives within the framework of Group and Branch Panel and Policies.

- Early involvement integration in all purchasing & procurement-related procedures to be a competent partner to all internal customers for the early involvement of suppliers to start the supplier management process as early as possible.

- Supplier management sourcing, supplier selection, evaluation and development of local suppliers to ensure that Valeo Standards are met and to implement joint cost objectives from the beginning.

- Planning and controlling deviation of team/individual objectives (budget, index, target/actual) from objectives under the anticipated market situations to measure, control, report, and (where necessary) to give coaching in the overall results, Purchasing Dept. and staff.

- Risk management, environment protection and respect of Valeo Code of Ethics in purchasing assessment and in the course of business to avoid possible damage or prevent problems by means of appropriate measures and to ensure that business is conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Benchmarking in purchasing-related procedures and figures to derive approaches for continuous improvement by making (best practice) comparisons, and to implement these by means of appropriate measures.

- Responsible for identifying the environment factors for own department and area.

- Responsible for organizing the identification of environment factors for own department & area.

- Experience in leading people/management.
