KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for development of software and firmware of high-performance Wi-Fi chipsets, including design, coding, bug fixing, unit and integration tests
2. Responsible for design and review of new software features and the research of new technologies
3. Provide technical leadership through participation in projects and reviews. Provide technical input and guidance to junior engineers.
4. On-time delivery with high quality and adherence to corporate processes and procedures.
5. Work closely with the U.S. and Australia software and testing teams on task assignments, integration and field trials.
6. Support releases activities during the whole life cycle of chipset software development
7. Take the lead to support customer in Asian region, especially with ODM's and OEM's in China and Taiwan

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor or Master in EE, CS, CE, or related disciplines with 6+ years experience in embedded software/firmware development on Linux platform
2. Technical leadership experience is highly preferred.
3. Demonstrated technical leadership and programming proficiency using C and/or assembly language.
4. Rich experience of development for Linux kernel and driver
5. Experience of IP networking with good knowledge of TCP/IP and/or network security
6. Experience of Wi-Fi and/or other wireless networking drivers
7. Experience with software lifecycle management including build, packaging, release and delivery processes
8. Good coordination and problem solving skills and ability to meet tough goals under high pressure
9. Good written and oral communication skills in English, CET-6 is preferred.

PLUSES:
1. In depth of experience with 802.11 protocol suite and WLAN technology is a big plus
2. Knowledge of CPU architecture, DMA, Cache, DSP and PCI/PCI-E is an asset
3. Knowledge of RF, Regulatory, OFDM, and MIMO is an asset
4. Experience in Bootloader, OS layer, driver layer or middleware development is an asset
5. Prior work experience in the U.S. or U.S. based multi-national firms is an asset
