With many programs currently running and more launching onto the both the local and international automotive markets, Futuris Automotive Interiors are looking for experienced Seating / Interior trim PRODUCT ENGINEER to join our Global Engineering team.

This role will be required to work in Shanghai office for 6 months in the beginning stage.


Responsibilities:
1. Product development, solve complex technical issues
2. Liaise with both internal and external customers and suppliers
3. Ensure designs meet international standards and legal requirements
4. Deliver safe and cost efficient solutions
5. Ensure manufacturing feasibility
6. Manage the timely delivery of products
7. Accomplish the related works

Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience developing complex engineering solutions
2. At least 4 years experience in the automotive industry, preferably in seating.
3. Fluent in English both written and spoken
4. Mechanism knowledge is an advantage
5. CATIA knowledge an advantage but not essential.
6. Work independently and decisively
7. Able to travel to domestic and overseas locations frequently
8. An Engineering Bachelor degree, mechanical is preferred
