You have an engineering background and are you looking for an active working environment? You believe there is always a better way and love creating? We’re looking for a project engineer at Pan-Asia Gas Technology to be part of our product development team.

As project engineer, you design new products and deliver projects on time in full. You will play an active role in designing the future generation of oil-injected screw products.

You:
1. Contribute to the company’s mission of product leadership by developing safe and reliable products with a First Time Right approach
2. Help to achieve the company’s mission of cost leadership through a cost conscious lean design and innovation for cost leading solutions
3. Work closely with Marketing, Sourcing, Production, Quality, and Aftermarket in order to deliver the projects on time in full.
4. Set up a time frame taking the available resources and priorities into consideration. Coordinate tasks to respect to the set planning.
5. Write functional specifications and define test program based on risk assessment
6. Closely get involved with prototype assembly and prototype tests in the lab
7. Play an active role in supplier visits and technical meetings with suppliers together with the Sourcing engineers in order to have components with the right quality at market-leading cost.
8. Visit customers to get a better customer understanding and follow-up endurance tests or quality issues.
9. Work according to a lessons learned approach and believe there is always a better way.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: This includes but does not limit to age, gender, education, working experience, language,
Computer and personality.

Experience requirements
1. Minimum 3 years product design and development experience in machine engineering, preferable in compressor packaging
2. Experience in project management is a plus.

 Knowledge / Educational requirements
1. University degree or similar through experience, major in mechanical engineering or related area.
2. Good command of English and Mandarin (both oral and written)
3. Good CAD skills, as well as software skills (Lotus Notes, MS Office)
4. Being familiar with oil injection screw compressors is a plus

Pan-Asia introduction
To further improve the efficiency of the assembly operations for oil-injected screw compressors and air treatment in East China, Atlascopco group has decided to move the engineering and production competence of oil-injected screw compressors from Bolaite to Wuxi.

Pan-Asia Gas Technology (Wuxi) is a newly created company located in current Pneumatech premise which will host oil - injected screws of Bolaite and small refrigerant dryers, air receivers and small filters of Pneumatech.
