职位描述
1. Liaison with suppliers on new projects, quality problems, and coordinate quality improvement programs across functional areas
2. Follows an individual work plan and meets day to day short term business objectives.
3. Utilizing engineering skills to resolve supplier related issues and non-conformances
4. Working with the Quality team to resolve incoming part issues
5. Developing and managing PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
6. Supports various cost reduction initiatives.
7. Identify training needs for inspectors, review available training program and schedule inspectors to be trained
8. Building good rapport and achieving customers goals respective to quality engineering in the areas of DFM, FA, SSAT, Six Sigma Programs
9. Develop quality plan and inspection guide for all parts

Position Requirements
1. Qualified candidates must possess a BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineer
2. Minimum 4 years experience in supplier development or supplier quality engineering
3. Skills in Key Quality Management Functions
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Expertise with problem solving & analytical tools
6. APQP / PPAP / PFMEA / SPC / QMS (ISO / TS – 16949)
7. Six Sigma methodology & statistical tools desired
8. Inspection - Dimensional
9. Inspection -Metallurgy
10. Engineering & Mfg. Process Knowledge. ECN Control and implementation
11. Has the ability to resolve issues through immediate action and short term planning.
12. Establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements
13. .Drive and assist in supplier approval process including manufacturing technology, and Environmental Health & Safety risk analyses
14. Drive Continuous Improvements of supplier’s quality
15. Specialist in Stamping & Welding. Hands on knowledge in Castings or Forgings
16. Program management experience and project management experience a definite plus
17. Experience in new product development is an advantage
18. Familiarity with Oracle, SAP or similar MRP systems is a plus
19. Proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
20. Must be able to travel domestically
21. Program management and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
22. Lean Manufacturing understanding and experience is a plus.
23. Experience managing multiple projects with multiple suppliers
