About us

We are the largest Austrian EMS Electronics Manufacturing Service provider, headquartered in Vienna and production sites in Austria and Hungary. MELECS produces electronic components for customers in the automotive, lighting, communication & industry as well as white goods sector. As our business is rapidly expanding in the Chinese market, we’re going to open a factory in Wuxi/China in 2016 to produce and sell electronic components in the Asian market.

Currently we are building up our new China organization and are recruiting the first key positions. In order to form a strong management team of its Electronics Factory in Wuxi, we are looking for a Supplier quality Engineer. The position is located in Huishan district（惠山区）, Wuxi （无锡）, Jiangsu Province.

For this position, we will send to Austria for a period of 3-4 months technical training in order to obtain the knowhow.

Reporting Line to: Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities:

1.Master data maintenance, parameter settings and changes in SAP/R3
2.Material Planning, Demand tasks according to the agreed customer requirements and considering the delivery time of parts and optimized stock level
3.Creation of manufacturing orders
4.Material tracking, Optimization of lead times and inventory
5.Schedule tracking and on-time delivery to customers
6.Intensive cooperation with customers regarding demand planning and supplies
7.Interface management to the areas product management, warehouse, purchase, production, dispatchers and customer
8.Creating the dispatch advice for transport organization and information for the customer
9.Cooperation in project teams for new products and coordination for product launch and outlet

Requirements:

1.Commercial education (business fundamentals), logistics processes and technical basic education (electrical and EMS production techniques advantageous)
2.At least 5 years of relevant working experience in international company
3.Languages: Chinese and very good English knowledge
4.Very good computer skills (MS Office)
5.Experience in application with SAP/R3 is advantageous
6.High customer orientation
7.Skills for communication, organization and teamwork
