- Coordinate with China suppliers and container freight carriers
- Prepare and update shipping schedule for shippers
- Follow-up with suppliers to ensure all bookings are done correctly and in time, including ISF filing and VGM submission;
- Track all sailing schedules and provide updates to the Head Office in Canada;
- Collect and verify all shipping documents for accuracy (Cl, PL and BOL)
- Approve customs and freight invoices and enter data on SAP for tracking
- Verify and approve customs entries (HS codes and duty charges)
- Assist with data entry on SAP and Excel
- Assist with other Supply Chain related tasks and projects and assigned by management
- Working hours are 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. China time zone, however some evening work is required to communicate with the Head Office in Canada
- This position will work from home, with limited travel to the factories
Qualifications:
- College Degree in Logistics, Supply China Management or related discipline
- A minimum of 2 years'experience within a similar role
- Understanding of logistics and export process from China to North America
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Previous experience with SAP Business One is an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Excellent wirtten and verbal communication and teamwork skills required
- Able to work from home with minimal supervision; high speed internet required
