Position: CAD Engineer

General Function:

The CAD engineer is responsible for global Solidworks CAD support, which includes bilingual engineering drawing development, engineering change revisions control, complex 3D model creation, and EPDM system control. As the engineering drawing is the standard for design and quality control for IMMI advanced safety products, attention to detail and precision in drawing accuracy is crucial for ensuring the highest level of safety for IMMI products. The position requires written and verbal communication in English with the global CAD Services Group. In addition, the CAD engineer is responsible for supporting Engineering and Quality departments on a project basis for product design research, industry standard benchmarking, manufacturing fixture design support, and other technical activities.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

· Two to Five years of experience in a mechanical engineering design or 3D CAD support position

· Solidworks experience and training in both 2D drawings and advanced 3D modeling

· Enterprise PDM (or equivalent) experience

· Ability to communicate well in written and verbal English

· Ability to follow international CAD drafting practices, including ANSI and ISO standards

· Pro-Engineer experience

· Excellent written and oral communication skills in Mandarin Chinese

· Willing to work from Wuxi, China facility

· Able to contribute overtime as required to complete projects in a timely manner

· Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

· Physical demands and work hazards are negligible
