Job description
To better support ZM business, Systems Wuxi will review customer specifications for Customer Centres, same as what is being done in Systems Houston.
For that purpose and activity we are looking for Application/Project Engineers.
In Application function you will:
· Support Customer Centres with technical and commercial proposals for engineered compressed gas systems.
· Interacts & cooperates with Atlas Copco Customer Centres, end customers, the other regional Application groups, the Systems Group and various qualified vendors.
· Report to the Project Team Leader.
In Project function you will:
· Perform full project management (Integration / Scope / Time / Cost / Quality / Human Resource / Communication / Risk / Procurement) of non-standard AIF equipment and in accordance with the requirements of all stakeholders, from first receipt of an RFQ down till the project closure.

Your responsibilities include:
· Support Customer Centres sales channel by evaluating the technical/commercially feasibility of a tender and help to clarify customer inquiries and specifications.
· Review complete request for quotations including all applicable specifications and prepare detailed exceptions as needed.
· In cooperation with sales engineers, establish scope of supply, lead to help define specific product & sales strategy to secure business. Complete, independently, technical and commercial evaluations to provide professional quotations, costing details and consolidated gross profit calculations.
· Give timely, accurate, appropriate level of detail
· Prepare and lead detailed technical presentations and bid clarification meetings.
· Initiates / plans / executes / monitors & controls / closes project processes.
· Liaise between the customer centres, product companies, System Group entities, qualified vendors and end customers during the life of the project.

Experience requirements
· 2 or more years of experience in as technical role within an industrial environment is required.
· Experience proposal engineering is preferred.
· Experience with and understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
· Experience reading/interpreting mechanical/electrical CAD drawings.
· Experience dealing with engineering consultants and high spec. industry companies would be an asset.

Knowledge & Competence
· Good command (verbal and written) of English.
· Mandarin is a must.
· Strong technical knowledge of engineered gas compression systems, especially on blowers.
· Able to work within a time frame set by the customer.
· Able to plan and organize effectively and set priorities.
· Capable of managing large amounts of documents as part of the deliverables required on all projects utilising support resources where possible.

Educational requirements
· University degree - technically oriented or similar through experience
