Position: Technical Writer

Report to: Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities
Technical writers will be responsible for creating technical documentations to help to communicate complex and technical information more easily. Develops, gathers, and disseminates technical information among customers, designers, sales, and manufacturers, to ensure proper & effective application of all technical document.
1. Create and edit English product documentation according to company guidelines, including printed materials, electronic help, and other forms of documentation.
2. Review existing materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format and content.
3. Interact with product manager, customers and other colleagues to clarify their requirements and define engineering and project documentation content.
4. Collaborate with technical experts to get deeply understanding of products.
5. Working closely with engineering, technical service and assembly personnel to determine operation, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting requirements.
6. Organize document review with related parties, collect and analyze feedback for optimization.
7. Improve existing document distribution, publishing and utilization procedure.

Qualification
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in English for Science & Technology, or other related area, fluent oral & written English.
2. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
3. Strong interest in and comfort with technological subject matter, preferably with certain knowledge of mechanical products and experience of technical design, technical document writing.
4. Excellent organizing & coordination ability, attention to detail, with ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
5. Persistence and initiative to learn.
6. Prior hands-on experience working with computers (hardware and/or software).
7. Ability to work effectively in a group environment.
