Job_description_responsibilities:

This position will work in Cat Operator Interface and Environment Division Components & Structure Section to support Operator Station Facility on new design introduction, manufacturing process analysis and validation, production release & readiness and after-production engineering support on site for all CAT product lines in China.

The incumbent will deliver management support to other team members for current product improvement and new product development meeting the critical customer requirements including reliability & durability at or below target product cost and target development cost.

The incumbent will also actively participate in LCC Component sourcing efforts in China by collaborating components & structure suppliers to understand manufacturing process to drive more cost reduction opportunity and quality improvements. Sametime, he will provide manufacturing assistance to new components & structure parts development in engineering phase.

The incumbent will demonstrate strong focus by staying at OSF and give on site support to solve technical issues quickly on both welding line and assembly line. He need heavily involve in the process of New Production Readiness in OSF with Global Purchasing / Supply Chain / Manufacturing Planning / Inventory Management to get the preparation documents done

Required_skills_qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering

· Design, analysis or test experiences related Construction Machine systems and component development

· Ability to effectively communicate in English in work environment

· Strong initiative, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

· Ability to conduct multiple projects concurrently

· Pro/Engineering proficiency

desired_skills_qualifications:

· MS in Mechanical Engineering or relative area

· Manufacturing and/or assembly experience related to heavy equipments

· Experiences in working w/ suppliers to provide engineering support to purchasing

At least 3 - 5 years related work experience
