Job_description_responsibilities:

This position will work in Electronics & System Integration Division engine systems section , lead team members to develop diesel core engine control or engine application control systems . The incumbent is expected to manage the whole New Product Introduction projects and Continuous Product Improvement including the project schedule, cost, and quality control etc. to support Caterpillar Diesel engines control system development .
The incumbent will demonstrate strong customer focus by staying current with customer needs as well as new technologies, products, manufacturing & assembly processes/methods.



The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:



1. Provide project/technical leadership to local engineering team .

2. Lead to implement development of core engine control, software validation , development and validation of engine components (harness, rotating electrics, mounting brackets,etc).

3. Lead to implement projects of engine application for a variety of machines.

4. Lead support for factory and engine test cell.

5. Support US/UK team for engine control and engine application system.

6. Project planning and execution, coordinate internal and external resource.


Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree is at least , majoring in diesel engine electric control, engine, Control Engineering , Mechatronics ,software or related
2. 5 years and above experience on similar position or engine industry ,at least 1 years management experience.

3. Familiar with diesel engine or fuel control system
4. Basic knowledge about software ,engine control
5. Fluent in English and good skill to communicate with local and US/UK team
6. Proven team leadership skills and ability to manage project

Desireable Qualifications:

1. Master degree is preferred
2. Strong knowledge about construction machine

3. Experience on DSPACE, FAST, CANape, Matlab/simulink
