- For our Infrastructure & Cities Sector in WUXI,we are looking for a Engineer for GIS TE 设计工程师

What are my responsibilities?

- Management of the Kuko Processing of circuit-breaker switchgear

Kuko clarification

- Decision on technical feasibility of the Kuko (depending on product competence of the manager and his employees)

- Check logistical contents (components with long lead time, transformers etc.)

- Go/No go-decision (possibly together with Marketing/R&D)

- Clarification of contents with customer

- Clarification which type tests are necessary

- Clarification about influences of the changes on the secondary part

Kuko calculation

- estimation about the costs of the customer specific subassemblies

- estimation about engineering effort

- estimation about order engineering effort

- estimation testing effort

Kuko engineering

- Check similar solutions in Kuko-database

- Engineering of the Kuko-solution

- Setup of BOMs

- Sample purchases and test assemblies

- Define necessary tests together with R&D

- Creating the Kuko order List

Kuko documentation

- Documentation of all relevant information and drawings

Leading of employees:

- If necessary, select employees and lead them technically and disciplinarily.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- Certain work experience in the field of design of high medium voltage switchgears.

- Be familiar with all kinds of technical standards of medium voltage switchgears.

- The comprehensive technical and organizational management of the Kuko Processing requires a university education.

- The technical clarifications with customers require a high level of English skills.

- For coordination and evaluation of the technical solutions, as well as for the product and customer knowledge related to switchgear business, long years of professional experience are required.

- At least medium English communication skills both in writing and speaking, basic software knowledge of computer e.g. MS Office.

What else do I need to know?

- For internal: colleagues in the research and development of GIS and for external : testing institution/customers
