Job responsibility:
- Perform equipment time study, line balancing and update on major processes, sub-processes & shared processes equipment to minimize over or under estimate for equipment capacity for capacity extension projects
- Establish machine requirements and capacity study for capital expenditure, and advise decision making on machine justification in conjunction with forecasted volume ramp-up
- Provide cost budget for capacity extension project & initiate BuE application
- Plan and liaise with Machine Technology Group, Manufacturing Group, Plant Management, Supply Chain Management and other Supporting Groups to ensure all planned capacity extension activities are in order to meet the planned timeline & cost
- Perform Industrial Engineering study on production lines using relevant tools for continuous improvement in productivity and equipment utilization for overall plant
- Participate and play an active role in new product launching and product or production lines transferring to Penang related to capacities and budget matter
- Validate new machine cycle time and new process time
- Assisting in product conversion projects for manufacturing capacity and efficiency improvement

Job requirement:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing
- Proficiency in PC application especially Microsoft EXCEL, Time/Motion Study, Project Management
- Basic SAP, FMEA, ACAD, Space and Capacity Planning, Lean Manufacturing Knowledge
- Good in English communication
- 3-5 years related working experience
