Assignments and responsibilities

·        Be part of a team that develops and designs products through every phase of development from sketching, fabric selection, accessory approval and fitting, to the final production.

·        Create 4 collections and 4 express collections a year

·        Collaborate and brainstorm on specified strategic design directions in corporation with design manager.

·        Analyse sales figures and development style needs.

·        Manage files to suppliers.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in fashion design.
• You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in fashion design.
• Preferably your previous work experience is from a men’s wear brand, high street level.
• You have advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• You have the ability to design and create styles within Jack and Jones’s demographic.
• You can identify new trends and implement this in your work.
• You have a good eye for colour and composition, paying attention to detail.
• You can work independently.
• You have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• You have good English skills, both spoken and written.
• You are willing to live and work in Beijing, China.
• You are interested in working with other cultures.
