Objectives:

• Observance of and compliance with Trillium’s safety policies
• Determined focus on achieving ambitious organic growth targets by developing close long-term relationships with both existing and potential customers.
• Be the first point of contact and “the face of Trillium” for customers within Singapore for all Trillium products
• Develop & provide a solid communications package for customers publicizing business news and product updates
• Negotiate with customers and work closely with Trillium support teams to close deals
• Develop an objective based customer visit matrix with expectations, planned outcomes and timings
• Work within the Trillium framework and under the direction of the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to achieve or exceed annual input bookings targets
• Attend and accept Trillium product training programmes and then manage the delivery of these programmes to customers
• Travel extensively within country allocated to consolidate Trillium’s position with existing and potential customers
• Recognize and coordinate new projects from initial announcement through the RFQ & Quotation process to PO placement and beyond.
• Work with Product Management team to ensure that Trillium are incorporated into project AVL’s and ensure that AVL inclusion data is recorded and up-to-date.
• Prepare annual order bookings budgets and monthly bookings forecasts
• Record and report input bookings received vs plan
• Contribute to and provide input for long-term growth plans
• Presence at selected conferences, exhibitions & seminars
• Delineate between products manufactured regionally & non-regionally – develop outlook, inclusion and marketing strategy for non-regional products.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

Education and/or Experience :

• Preferably degree level knowledge of business administration, sales and marketing, or mechanical engineering
• At least 5 years selling working experience in related valve industry
• Good understanding of valve application knowledge
• Pump experience would be beneficial
• Willing to work independently for any given tasks and take responsibility for solving problems, meeting clients’ requirements are essential for the best interests of Trillium company.
• Ability to organize, self-motivated and excellent customer relationship skills.
• Own strategic views of market trend
• Strong initiatives and self-motivation.
  

Communication Skills :

• Good spoken and written English language.
• Second language a +
• Good presentation skills

Reasoning Ability :

• Whilst the candidate would be expected to work off his/her own initiative, the ability to function as part of a team is essential.
• Target driven & results focused.
• Understanding and good management of change within the business environment.
