This is a European company based in SIP and they are now hiring Accounting Supervisor considering the business development.
Key Responsibilities:
provides direct supervision / training to employees performing work on record to report and master maintenance function for the Asia region
be accountable to the results of the teamhandles internal customers inquiries or escalationshandles statutory and tax related filings and compliance recommends and implements methods for dispute resolution and drive process improvements maintains positive relationships with internal customers who have a significant impact on the success of the organization builds cross-functional relationships where persuasive skills, negotiation skills, and considerable tact are required to gain supportapplies in-depth knowledge of professional standards and precedents in area of specialty
coordinates the activities of a team with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and employeesreviews employees’ performance; coaches for improved performance and takes appropriate disciplinary action as requiredinteracts directly with subordinates and peer groups; interfaces with senior managers on issues related to the area of expertiseensures satisfactory readiness on various processes for SOx and audit purposesensure finance reports are distributed to management on a regular basishandles ad hoc project as assigned
Key Requirements:
degree Holder preferred in Finance or Accounting or equivalent professional qualification in Accounting
around seven years of relevant working experience in finance field with multinational companyknowledge of the Chinese Tax regulationsfluent English & Mandarinwork under high pressureconscientious, result-oriented, enthusiastic and eager to learnstrong analytical and interpersonal skillsproficiency in MS Excel and Word. Knowledge in SAP a definite advantagegood knowledge of global business environment and customers' businessgood negotiation and problem resolution skillsgood leadership and coaching skillsgood communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external partiesability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employeesability to use some or all of the following PC applications: Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, PowerPointperform financial sensitivity analysis against all key factors and provide management with recommendations / solutionsmakes recommendations based on interpretation of resultsability to drive projects and implementation of action itemsThis world-renowned company has been in the industry for almost 100 years.
