OVERVIEW:
The position as automation and system design engineer involves development, implementation and maintenance of process control systems for SSAB APAC

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participating in projects as expert and advisor in the field
- Maintaining, monitoring and developing ProView process control systems
- Maintaining and monitoring Debian Linux
- Educating and supporting end users.
- Maintaining and monitoring hardware and software
- Creating routines for restore and troubleshooting
- Participating in and supporting the IT team in SSAB group
- As needed being a part of the helpdesk team
- Ensuring IT is aligned within SSAB group
- Managing areas of the data center with the IT group

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor Degree in IT Engineering or equivalent major, especially focus study in the field of system design and automation
- 1 or 2 years' working experience in related area
- Knowledge in Linux and Oracle
- Knowledge about relational databases
- Having experience with object-oriented design, preferable in C/C++
- Having experience with process control systems
- Tuning and performance monitoring in Linux
- Good knowledge in PL/SQL language
- Good communication skills (oral and written) in technical solutions
- Knowledge about programming in NET language or Java
- Fresh graduates willing to learn are welcomed
