Area of responsibility:
IBP processes
- Engage in and drive the improvement of the IBP process of the F-M China Braking Plants, supporting the Supply Planning with the sites, as well as the reconciliation processes
- Optimize the balance between supply and demand for the sites in China
- Drive forecast accuracy improvement actions, identify and react to demand/supply gaps and drive inventory optimization
- Provide an early warning system, identifying issues related e.g. to supply and capacity shortages
- Maximize product availability and delivery performance
- Investigate and drive improvement of sources for variability, product availability and delivery performance
- Establish appropriate planning and stocking policies for every product
- Support Cycle time and inventory reduction initiatives
- Support and track Inventory Consignment initiatives with suppliers
- Drive SKU optimization, cycle time reduction and Inventory reduction projects and opportunities
- Support the set and maintenance of the safety stock requirements for all MRP driven items using Inventory Policies
- Effectively manage product life cycle phase in and phase out, minimizing obsolescence
- Review Item wise Forecast & Safety Stock requirements for Phase in Items and agree with Product Management
- Plan and drive reduction in Inventories of Phase out Items
- Support financial reconciliation and validate unit forecasts in the market against Budget and Latest Estimates
Interaction with stakeholders and provides IBP support
- Reach out pro-actively to Sales Team in China to ensure Sales Changes are integrated in the Sales Forecast and reflected in the MDB
- Reviews with Sales, proactively raise Exception Items for discussion and resolve differences to drive to a consensus forecast
- Work with the Supply Base Team to launch Consignment inventory actions with suppliers
- Work with Site IBP Leads, Customer Service & Supply Planners to identify and reconcile gaps
- Participate in the monthly Supply Reviews with the relevant factories
- Prepare and present forecasts, safety stock requirements and demand/supply balance opportunities during monthly IBP Meetings

Education/ Qualifications
- Technical higher education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business administration,
- Master's degree preferred
Experience
- Demonstrated results in Supply Chain, Customer Service and/ or (demand) Planning
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the automotive industry
- Working experience with the global Supply Chain Organization
- Working experience with QS / ISO TS, MRP, SAP, APO, MDB
