JOB DISCRIPTION
Deputy Industrial Sales Manager
The Role
In view of the rapid growth and even more aggressive ambitions of the LEE KUM KEE business in China, Deputy Industrial Sales Manager for district area is Reporting to Industry GM, China, is responsible for managing the sales and marketing activities within agreed strategy to achieve budgeted sales and profit.
Responsibilities
Lead & Manage sales team

Set sales targets and objectives to a sales team, close tracking of sales progress
Coach and lead teamates on business development plan
Set and keep track on all sales reports from sales team, collect, analyze and provide immediate feedback to marketing on various issues from the trade
Ensure training is provided to enhance product and industry knowledge to the sales team as well as to distributors
Drive and lead the customer relationship

Ensure comprehensive plans are in place (joint business plan) and reviewed monthly with B2B strategy account and district account
Develop a customer relationship matrix ensuring all influencers/decision makers have required levels of contact with LKK personnel.
Anticipate customer needs and respond in a timely manner to all requests
Ensure customer terms and conditions are documented, agreed and implemented internally

Develop new end customer business

Understand and investigate end-users needs, identify the potential end- users and propose the right product solutions for the sales team to follow up
Develop and grow direct Key Accounts in QSR or FoodService segments
Develop customer/ distributors in Industrial food segment
Develop a strong relationship with the district distributor and B2B accounts to ensure industrial products are the first choice when external end customer business is being developed

Sales forecasting & sourcing

Compile rolling monthly forecast to Supply Chain Dept for production planning
Liaise with Marketing on NPC issues and product spec changes
Work with Supply Chain on OEM sourcing, giving clear product spec requirements and pricing points for R&D to develop

Marketing & communication

Work closely with Marketing team on reflecting B2B market needs and new product spec developments
Lead and originate marketing team on organizing of innovation and seminars
Develop sales materials and product fact sheets by adaptation of global resources
Develop promotional plans for selective trade segments and launch of new products

Candidate Profile:

Solid experience in sales & marketing for at least 7 years of B2B experience in hotels/catering/industrial products with an established track record; related experience in hotel supplies/industrial segment is preferred etc.
Good sales management and execution capabilities-at least 5 years of sales management and leadership of a sales team is a must, with national coverage a plus;
Track record in new business developments, preferably in project selling;
Be strong in strategic thinking, excellent analytical and presentation skills, be able to turn strategy into sales results;
Be entrepreneurial, energetic, and pragmatic;
Good interpersonal and organizational skills, efficient team player with team building experiences and capabilities;
Eager and passionate in working and development him/herself in a fast growing process with good learning capabilities;
English language proficiency in both written and oral English.
