Accountabilities:

15% Comply with company SHEQ policy and implement on site Fully comply with company SHEQ rule and procedure, attend safety training and safety meeting. Use properly PPE when service on site and do the right record according to SHEQ rule and RA requirement.
Attend safety training over 95%, finish the Traccess training and pass test over 95% on line in time.
Attend team and company safety meeting at least 40 minutes a week.
Finish at least 2 incident/near miss/hazard and good catch reports per month. 2 Act Safe observation reports are also requested every month.
Strictly follow company and customer EHS rule.
No safety accident is happened on site.
50% On site customer support Ensure all EDWARDS pumps and scrubbers are installed and commissioned correctly according to procedure, and that equipment is working to specification.
Ensure the preventive maintenance is finished on high quality and on schedule.
Ensure the BOP/SOP is fully followed when do service activity on site.
Arrange and carry out basic training courses for customer’ staffs on major overhaul of EDWARDS equipment, ensuring that correct tooling, procedures, test equipment and spare parts are used.
Implement on duty service when off time and holidays according to team leader arrangement.
Support other site finish the service activity when necessary.
Finish new installation and commissioning on time and correctly.
Implement warranty service and field onsite service ensure all products are working in specification, failed pump replacement and scrubber service in time, keeping products up time o site.
Finish all service activity on time and correctly, such as PM and troubleshooting and pump replacement and on duty service.
Comply with the FS manager and team leader arrangement for assigning to support other site in China.
Strictly follow both of Edwards and customer’s procedure and rule on site.
Shift work is requested according to requirement of service warranty support/on site service contract.
20% Team work and communication Focus on agreed customer regularly to build up strong relationships and demonstrate EDWARDS support.
Cooperate with other department staff for fix on site issue.
Basic training for EDWARDS product and work BOP/SOP on site to new engineers and technicians, work with them under buddy system.
Implement recommended technical solutions to achieve desired improvements, thereby reducing commercial risks to EDWARDS. Site service reports are finished properly and get customer sign off.
Communicate and cooperate with customer and other department staff within company for fix the product issue.
Use PTW, HS2, BOP/SOP and Risk Assessment in right way and properly record on site.
Help give new FSE/FST get suitable training and work with them as buddy.
15% Report and Information sharing Provide clear reports to local and overseas staff, to allow accurate assistance in resolving technical issues.
Finish service report and failure report on time.
Support team leader update the installation database every month in time.
Support team leader control and manage the site document and do properly update.
Do installation and commissioning report when finish the task.
Do service report and PM report in time and get customer sign off.
Submit the failure report to technical department.
Support to update all databases every month.
Provide related report and information to KAM and management team for reference.
Skills, Qualifications ,Experience & Working Site: (Recruitment, Selection, Career Development Linkage)
Skills:
Technical/Specialist skills Ability to read and use engineering drawings, and to sketch engineering requirements.
Practical in nature with good troubleshooting skills, able to appreciate application or product issues and their influences.
Command of English, both written and oral.
Good level of computer literacy. Good Command of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
Qualifications: (Basic Role Requirements)
Academic and/or Professional
Mechanical or electromechanical engineering background, with formal qualifications to college degree level an advantage.
Experience:
Type and approximate duration of work experience (to be used as a guide only)
Background in General vacuum equipment, Semiconductor equipment is an advantage.
Flexible, willing to travel all over China.
Commercially aware and of smart appearance, will often visit Edwards’ customers alone.

Behavioural characteristics required to perform the job to a level of excellence Commercially aware and of smart appearance. Easy communication, good team work player and good manner.
Self motivated, and able to work with little supervision

Training Critical to Role Competence: Safety Training, Basic Semiconductor, FPD & Solar or Vacuum knowledge in advance.
Working Site: Currently service site is based on truly, Huizhou.
But according to Edwards business development and customer’s situation, the working site would be based on different customer sites in different provinces and cities, such as XiaMen, Shanghai, Shanwei and other places where Edwards’s customers are located.
