职位描述
1. Brief Description (3-4 lines)
Why does the job/role exist
This position holder act as the major HR communication window to provide the professional HR support to Liner business leaders in South China offices typically includes hiring, employee relations, people development needs, as well as the implementation of the global/regional projects. This role will as also work closely with China HR Operation team to ensure that all HR related policies are followed and is in line with local government regulations and labour law.
2. Key Result Areas (2 – 3 Key Items)
What does the job need to deliver? How is it measurable?
? Ensure all HR related services are effectively and efficiently delivered.
? Proper communication to facilitate all HR initiatives/activities between head office and local branch offices.
? Performance is measured via the following:
? Key Process Indicators-like headcount movement report, turnover report, PMP, etc.
? Compliance
3. Key Accountabilities/Duties (6 –7 items)
? Understand business requirement in South China, and to align HR objectives and personnel flows with these objectives.
? Engage in hiring process to define talent for business, conduct staff on-boarding and check-out process.
? Ensure that the HR policies, recommendation and approval process are strictly complied with.
? Answer staff/manager’s enquires on HR related issues and provide solutions.
? Partner with business to diagnose root cause as for human issues, provide coaching and HR professional inputs to managers.
? Maintain employee relation and promote company branding/culture through various HR engagement program/activities.
? To make sure the PMP process and HR initiated project will be fully communicated and implemented cross organization according to guidelines.
? Work with HR Peers of head office to support and provide effective tools and program to improve the organizational effectiveness, and talent development for organization.
? Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with L&D HR team as well as local training administration to ensure the implementation.
? Enforce zero tolerance to achieve an unquestionable corporate and personal integrity.
? Other ad-hoc assignment from superior.
4. Incumbent specification
Education/Experience, skill sets, desired competencies;
Show which are ‘Typical’ and which are ‘Nice to have’.
Education Bachelor or above
Experiences At least 8-year working experience in HR, of which 3 in a managerial role.
Shipping or Logistics industry knowledge/background is preferable.
Solid experience on talent management, change management, staffing/employee relation expertise
Skill Sets Strong working knowledge of HR practices, e.g. ER cases handling;
Excellent communication and influencing skills;
Desired competencies (typical) Result-oriented, process-oriented, a strong communicator with good presentation & writing skills.
Has good business acumen and strong analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills and is able to handle and deal with demanding situations and people.
Desired competencies (nice to have) Skills in public presentation, managing the media,
and professional counselling skills would be a plus
