职位描述

Job Purpose:
Executes the sales plan to ensure achievement of China objectives for sales performance, profit margin, customer and market penetration and growth. Establish and grow M/A-Com’s presence in China through capture of new business and professional representation of our value proposition to potential buyers

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

? Takes a leadership position to drive the entire business in the country - markets, customers, products, sales and profits.

? To articulate a strategic vision for the country.

? Deliver value vs. the competition and for the long term success of our customers

? Routinely visit the factories, often with customers, and align resources to meet the plans.

? Train and develop sales staff, coordinate with channel partners, and define the applications engineering support necessary to meet customer needs.

? Develops a country sales strategy to achieve sales/orders budget objectives; expands M/A-COM's share of targeted markets and accounts; implements tactics consistent with objectives. Develops and recommends appropriate sales quotas and sales account mix for Field Sales Engineers, Industrial Distributors, and Independent Representatives within the region, based on knowledge of customer requirements and purchasing patterns.

? Provides sales management, division and marketing staff with country-based support to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness and improve company performance.

? Provides day-to-day leadership, communication, training and selling assistance to direct Field Sales Engineers, Independent Representatives, and Industrial Distributors in order to enhance regional sales performance and develop accounts. Coordinates with other regional staff(s) relative to Major/Strategic Account proposals

? Sells directly into specific accounts and ensures that assigned quotas are achieved. Supports sales research and analysis efforts as required to develop strategies targeted to facilitate the growth of M/A-COM products and markets. Provide accurate monthly forecast to aid the factory in developing appropriate production plans in support of customer requirements. Regularly make joint customer visits with Field Sales Engineers to aid in sales training as required, to gain added insight into market dynamics and key customer support requirements. Helps identify new markets for current products and technologies.

? Monitors country performance to assure cost effective operation relative to sales volume, profit margins and expenses. Submits and presents required sales performance reports to area sales management and participates in reviews and planning activities. Develops sales forecasts and budgets for the region in conjunction with area sales management and division marketing staff(s). Recommends and implements program and structural changes to improve regional operating performance. Conducts quarterly performance reviews of the entire sales organization in the region (Direct Sales, Representatives, and Distributors).

? Must be able to manage a geographically and technically diverse workforce to continue to meet sales objectives most cost effectively.
? Ability to exercise influencing skills to promote products, supervise staff and interface with sales management, Business Unit management, division.
? Ability to attract, develop and retain talented individuals; evaluating key strengths and development needs for the team and providing learning opportunities that enable all team members to realize their potential.
? Ability to clearly convey information & ideas to groups and individuals in a variety of situations; to communicate in a focused and compelling way that drives others’ thoughts and actions.
? Demonstrate zeal for new information, knowledge and experiences; regularly seeking out and capitalizing on learning opportunities; quickly assimilating and applying new information

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a B.S. Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline and a minimum five years of technical sales experience.
