DUTIES:

Implement Strategic Direction

·Identify target segments based on competitive strengths

·Assess feasibility of meeting targets’ needs

·Monitor competitive environment include product offerings and capacity utilizations

·Determine and support distribution methods to optimize market penetration

·Optimize portfolio - routinely assess and rationalize productline

·Analyze and recommend investments for city expansion. Qualify return on investment

Manage Resources/Business Unit Support

·Coordinate product development, product launch and product introduction activities

·Identify and coordinate elements critical to a project; lead functional groups including: Research, Sales, Quality Assurance, EH&S, Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Marketing Communications, Legal and Finance/Accounting

·Develop & execute distribution growth & retention tools.

·Recommend and implement pricing strategies, and cost reduction measures to optimize profitability

·Centralize and maintain all product and customer segmentation databases

·Optimize product portfolio - routinely assess and rationalize product portfolio

·Track portfolio and time balance of product developments

·Provide support to S&OP forecast process. Review & validate demand.

Support Selling Task

·Work with cross functions team and AP Marketing Communications, develop advertising and promotional programs; manage budget for these materials

·Develop technical product performance literature

·Develop and implement product training & strategy alignment programs for Sales & Distribution

·Develop and update competitive analysis including “Go To Market” strategy, portfolio strength and selling messages.

·Organize city seminar and attend related association meetings to benefit the BU

·Prepare financial analysis for project bidding.

Asset Management Support

·Optimize adjusted gross margin working with purchasing, Ops, R&D and other functions

·Optimize sourcing with Supply Chain to maximize the profitability and take advantage of the costs (raw material, packaging, freight cost and conversion).

Ensure Product mix is in line with product stewardship policies.

Experience

·5 years experience, of which significant part in related industry

·Working experience in MNCs in a matrix organization

·Sales and/or Distribution management experience desired

Education

·University degree in a technical or business discipline and possibly a post-graduate business qualification.
