Position Name: R&D Lab Manager - Process Automation


The successful candidate will lead and manage the R&D lab in Hangzhou, which is expanding fast (50+ staff) and will continue to grow in next years. The R&D Lab Manager reports to Head of PA R&D.


Job responsibilities:

-Responsible for leading and managing the line organization
-Overall responsible for performance and compliance on Milestones in R&D projects
-Responsible for organization development and competence according to the R&D Vision,including but not limited to:
-People training
-Processes and guidelines
-Guarantees sustainability of know how
-Works closely with product management
-Coordinates with other ABB centers

Job requirement:

-Master in electrical engineering or process automation
-DCS domain knowledge
-10-15 years professional experience, 5+ years in R&D management, experiences in

multi-national company is appreciated
-International exposure is preferable
-Fluent in verbal and written English
-Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills
-Highly organized with the ability for extreme multi-tasking
-Independent, innovative, and result oriented
-Must be a team player
