Electro Scientific Industries is seeking a Marketing Manager to take a key role in driving the growth of the Electro Scientific Industries’ business across the entire Asia Pacific region.

Description:

The position is based in Shanghai, China.

The candidate for this operational marketing management individual contributor-level position will be responsible for developing key marketing programs focused on helping Electro Scientific Industries to become the leading tool provider of high-technology laser-based manufacturing and micromachining across Asia Pacific.

The candidate will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy to increase customer acquisition, retention, awareness and spend of the highly successful laser tool capabilities of Electro Scientific Industries. The role requires an ambitious, entrepreneurial self-starter excited by a future in which ESI builds the best and widest-deployed laser tools across the region.

The applicant will combine the business acumen to work in close collaboration with local and remote senior decision makers, an innate understanding of customer needs and behavior, the creativity to conceive exciting promotions and campaigns and an understanding of online marketing, marketing research, and marketing data collection.

The goal is to make the Electro Scientific Industries Store front of mind and accessible whenever and wherever a client engages with content.

Drive new customer acquisition and sales in Asia by conceiving and executing on innovative and high-profile marketing initiatives.
Work in partnership with Asia’s leading manufacturing representative, contract manufacturing, and product manufacturing companies on co-marketing activities to maximize the awareness and sales

Conceive and develop marketing programs with manufacturer representatives designed to drive aware- ness and sales of content on Electro Scientific Industries

Work with the Electro Scientific Industries’ global marketing team to optimize sales communications, product and technology education, and market research and market understanding

Develop and maintain Electro Scientific Industries’ brand positioning within the region
