Senior Solution Architect OSS, BSS

Description

GSC China is Ericsson Global Service Center established to provide service delivery based on Ericsson OSS/BSS solution and product globally as well as support pre-sales activities, customer solution development and new product/service introduction toward Ericsson global customers.

Working as a senior solution architect in GSC China, you are expected to support Ericsson regional customers around the world. You will be responsible for managing customer requirements and proposing solutions in OSS, BSS by utilizing Ericsson and 3rd party products. You will work in an international environment both with team in GSC and customers of Ericsson globally. A pre-requisite of this position is the willingness to travel and work internationally according to Ericsson business demand.

Responsibility:

• Driver of end-to-end solution in Ericsson OSS/BSS area.

• Using your technical knowledge to analyze customer OSS, BSS requirements, define corresponding solution according to your analysis result.

• Participate on customer meeting to present your solution, answer customer technical question, follow up outstanding technical issue with professional manner.

• Perform feasibility studies of the solution. Responsible for solution proposal, also define solution support and life cycle management proposal.

• Leading solution design includes high-level design and low level design. Also, in charge of solution developing team to secure developing quality and progress.

• Handling change control during delivery phase and secure smooth delivery.

• Ensure solution documentation, knowledge transfer and sharing across technical team.

• Support GSC-China engagement team on pre-sale activities.

• Keep good communication and relationship with both internal and external customer.

Qualifications/Experience

• Master/bachelor degree on computer science, Telecommunications or related area.

• Excellent knowledge and competence within OSS, BSS area.

• At least 8 years working experience in IS/IT area. (3-4 years in SA role.)

• Proficient knowledge on OSS, BSS solution and related product.

• Proven ability on handling solution proposal, developing customer solution and delivery of solution.

• Excellent leadership and communication skill.

• Excellent English skill both oral and writing.

• Excellent consultative skill and good at customer handling.

• System integration or developing working experience on OSS, BSS area is a plus.

Travel Commitment:

A willingness to travel globally is a prerequisite for this role.
