Job Description
Test performance
Define the test program to be submitted to the customer, the design and the project manager.
Perform the final and special tests (routine, stage tests, low voltage, high voltage, dielectric tests on transformer oil…).
Test failure investigation, define the test procedure for investigation, perform investigation and find the failure point.

Test reports
Evaluate the tests results (including tests failures).
Register the tests results & deviations data in CAR.
Prepare the tests reports and calculations; determine the deviations and failure according to the standards and the specifications.
Carry out statistical reports about test results.

Test facilities preparation and maintenance
Ensure the continuous validity of required quality certificates for the laboratories, keeping up dated record of calibrated equipments.
Provide the periodic maintenance on the equipments, devices and facilities of the test laboratory and to keep them ready for use. Follow the calibrations of the devices and equipments of the laboratory.

Improvement
Participate to the Design reviews, from the tender to the tests in situ. Participate to the risk management.
Collect, transmit and analyze the data issued by the tests operations; share the results and solutions with other Unit Depts. Lead improvement workshops based on CI methods (PTR 5why's…).
Participate to the discussion of test failure to accurate experiments.
Study test process and test equipment to improve efficiency.
Frame and implement rules to conduct safe tests and safe working practices.
Advice all departments for questions referring to electricity.

Requirement:
Education – DiplomasElectrical Engineer degree with short exp
Or electrician technician with long exp.

Job experience required－ at least 5 years’ experience in transformer tests + another experience in quality control, in design or in manufacturing – if possible experience of team management.
OR specialized technician in an electro-technical field with 7 years experience in tests

Specific competencies - Knowledge of equipments, transformers and tests.

Languages (and level required)－ English.
