职位描述

Ikoi has two plants operating in China, in Shenzhen (since 2009) and in Beijing (since 2011) for the production of gold bars . Ikoi just closed a deal with one of the major chinese mines for ? 229.000 and is going to close another deal with another mine for a similar amount.
Ikoi at the moment is looking into the sector of gold for investment (where there is little competition), but is willing to look also into the jewellery sector (a more competitive market).

Sales Manager for the Chinese market
The China Sales Manager will report to the Far East Manager (who is working within the company for about 5 years) and under the supervision of the Commercial Director
Job specification
The candidate must:
- acquire all the information related to the investment gold market and jewellery market
- carry out an analysis of the potential market
- identify potential customers
- attend fairs / conventions / trade shows sector related (already in the agenda: Beijing 10/12 September, Tianjin 24/26 September, Hong Kong and Shanghai ottbre 4/7 December)
- contact the potential customers and write the offers
The place of work could be either Beijing or Shanghai
The candidate is expected to work outside the office at least 50% of his time

Salary
The salary will have a fixed part and a variable part.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate:
- has a strong commercial experience in the sector, with a strong technical background
- Is able to manage complex sales negotiations with private and governmental companies
- is able to manage a complex negotiation in all its aspects, financial and technical included
- has a technical degree
- is Chinese with very good level of English, spoken and written
