Position: Testing Engineer


Key Responsibilities:
Manage all technical deliverables associated with testing engineer::

o Analyze testing requirements, write test plan on product features based on end-to-end solution view.
o Test, verify and validate Switch/Router/WLAN Switch/AP/Security products according to product specifications and development standards.
o Analyze and track technical issues found during product test cycle. Work closely with design team for issue resolution.
o On-time delivery with high quality and adherence to corporate processes and procedures.
o Ensuring high quality delivery in adherence to industry standard quality systems (ISO, TL9000, CMMI).

Qualifications / Experience Required:
o Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or other related discipline.
o 2+ years of testing experience working in Wireless, Security, Telecommunications, Data network communication or other related industries.
o Exceptional analytical and creative problem solving skills; solution oriented individual
o Experience in IP network domain with good knowledge of TCP/IP
o Good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin

Pluses:
o Knowledge in IP network domain with understanding to TCP/IP, QoS, Tunneling, routing and switching technologies is preferred.
o Experience with test automation is preferred.
o Testing experience with data networking products is preferred.
o Knowledge of 802.11 protocol suite and WLAN technology is preferre.
o Knowledge of RF, Regulatory, OFDM, MIMO is an asset.
o CET-6 holder is preferred.
o Prior work experience in the US or with US based multi-national firms is an asset.
o Scripting expertise with TCL, PERL, Python and Expect is preferred.
