The Project concerned is: PF2 DPCA /CAPSA (Wuhan, ShenZhen).


In the field of development of PSA Vehicles & Platforms Projects in PRC, the missions are the following:
- Manage the chassis sub-system development (Axle &Suspension):
- Negotiate targets and achieve them till SOP (Quality, Cost, Delay and Performance)
- Provide support to the JV teams during project development
- Apply the 'Platform / Modules' policy: make carry-over of components between vehicles each time it is possible, manage the necessary design improvements.

Responsibilities:
Negotiate Quality, Cost, Delay and Performance targets for sub-system with Project Leader
Define strategy of development and localization of components of sub-system
Establish the time schedule of sub-system development according to master schedule, and manage it
Manage Chassis Development Engineers in charge of components localization, and other Support Engineers (quality, materials, validation...) in order to :
Guarantee the delivery of RFQ materials and the necessary technical & quality advices in due time
Approve the Integration-Validation Plan of components and sub-system
Approve and synthesise action plans related to technical issues & risks
Give periodical reports to Chassis Project Leader and Team Leader
Prepare materials for decision making (project, supplier selection, quality solving...)
Guarantee achievement of commitments (Quality, Cost, Delay and Performance)
Make the synthesis of Product/Process qualification reports, and approve supplier action plans managed by Development Engineers
Give advice to the Team Leader for personal development of operationally managed people.


Business Trip:
The profile will make frequent business trips to Wuhan and Shenzhen PSA facilities (location of Project Teams).


Requirement:
Academic Training: Engineering (Master, PhD)
Specific Academic Training: Chassis system
Experiences: Junior Engineer: 8 years of experience in chassis development + Project management
Graduate Engineer: 5 years of experience in mechanical development in auto industry
Languages: fluent English (spoken and written) - French strongly recommended


Behavioral Ability: rigorous and with good technical analyses; good communication skills; leadership.
Soft skills: decision making / communication / quick learner / work standards / problem solving.
