MISSIONS:
In the field of PSA Projects in PRC, the missions are the following :
-
Negociate Project targets for chassis (Localization Plan 'PIL',
Carry-over, Quality, Cost, Delay and Performance) - synthesise inputs
and propose the best technical offer for Project with respect of the
PSA Modular policy
- Manage the chassis development (perimeter is
: Suspension, Axles, Wheel, Steering, Driveshafts, Brake system,
complete chassis integration, validation, and tuning on vehicle + axle
assembly process) driving both JV and PSA core engineering teams with
respect of ICDV engineering standards
- Approve the Product & Process qualification of components (internal or purchased).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Activities (based on Lettre de Mission RT SS V1 QMS_QLSI07_0425) :
Provide Development Plan (commitment of ICDV and contributing core engineering departments) :
- Get inputs from Project, negociate QCDP targets
- Manage the convergence of Vehicle Dynamics Prestations specification (with CLDR France)
- Manage the functional design of chassis, and the specification of chassis sub-systems (with CLDR, ATRP and AFDH France)
- Define industrial scheme for in-plant process (with TILS and JV)
- Negociate allocation of Development Expenses 'DP' regarding the deliverables.
Coordonate the activities of chassis development :
- Ensure PSA ressources engagement is conform to Development Plan, negociate update if necessary
- Organize the activities of engineering dedicated to the Project (France / Shangha? + JV teams)

Ensure the respect of the schedulled activities (planning), the
deliverable at time and the avaibility of the parts for the assembly of
the vehicle (VRS1 to EL2)
- Commit on robustness of product definition, and respect of targets at launch of tool stage (TOP RO)
- Drive operationnaly the Vehicle Dynamics Manager (RS CLDR), and the Quality Manager (AQP)
- Drive the design, development and industrialization of systems, components and parts realized in-plant (with TILS and JV)

Drive the relationship with co-developer suppliers for design,
development and industrialization of purchased components (with France
/ Shangha? + JV teams)
- Realize the integration tests of
components, and the riding tests to validate dynamic prestations (with
EBOL + JV, and CLDR France)
- Manage the technical items (Faits techniques) in order to find quickly a solution

Make all decisions in own responsibility perimeter (chassis), or
propose to Project Team or JV the compromises / decisions making
involving tiers, and respecting PSA standard and interests.
The Chassis Project Manager is located in the JV (with some travels in Asia).
The operational report is to the Project Manager, and line-report to the Chassis Platform Manager.
Skills:
Academic Training: Engineering (Master, PhD)
Specific Academic Training: Business additional training would be utmost useful
Experiences:
10 years experience in auto industry businesses : project manager, production/quality/engineering manager
Languages: fluent english (spoken and written)
Behavioural Ability: rigorous and with good technical analyse ; good skills in communication ; leadership
