Description:
The Audience on Demand Supervisor of Planning is responsible for the development of audience-centric media plans
in support of the Vivaki agency teams. This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual leverages an array of AOD tools,
agency insights, and their own personal creativity to create compelling media & targeting campaigns in support of agency
strategic needs. The position is responsible for deep understanding of the following key areas:
? Targeting Data – strong working knowledge of data marketplace
? Media Sources – deep understanding of each display media exchange
? Forecasting – developing and maintaining models for budget projections
? Proposals – creating & supporting custom campaign proposals
The ideal candidate will have digital media planning & buying experience, very strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing
skills, with the ability to make clear, concise presentations. Previous sales planner & account management experience is a
plus. Most importantly, the candidate must possess a strong inner drive to redesign the digital media landscape, enjoy working with some of the finest minds in the industry, and want to be a part of something unique that will have a lasting impact on the Publicis network of agencies.
Responsibilities:
Product Execution
? Lead the discovery process for any and all agency AOD RFPs
? Design and validate optimal targeting criteria and data partners for achieving agency campaign objectives
? Develop accurate & realistic media recommendations based on targeting insights, including estimated budget / costs for campaign
? Provide timely responses to agency AOD requests for proposals
? Address & resolve any questions/issues related to proposals
? Review all insertion orders and confirm final details with Activation team
Product Strategy
? Provide subject matter expertise on agency targeting needs and feedback
? Identify gaps and opportunities related to targeting and media sources
? Continuously enhance & expand the “Audience Manager” and planning toolsets of the Audience on Demand product
? Work with Platform Management and Business Development teams to identify and incorporate best-in-breed data
? partners and solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
? B.S. , preferably in Marketing, Advertising,
? 2+ years in digital media or account planning, with special emphasis on planning and creating insights related to
consumer segments
? Previous experience with leading digital publisher / portal a plus
? Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and presentation skills
? Intelligent, entrepreneurial type with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
? Ability to lead projects independently from start to finish, working with internal and external teams to make decisions and maintain forward momentum
? In-depth understanding of digital advertising landscape from either media planning or sales planner perspective
? High competency level in MS Office products; demonstrated advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
? Excellent time management / project management skills, with ability to manage detail work and communicate project status effectively to all levels
