Job title: Process Engineer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Production Process Engineer's duties are to develop and verify production process for industrialization projects and also to introduce the solutions to production sites and report to site engineering operation manager.

? Coordinates and solves assigned technical product, process related issues with support on electrical debug of products, problems affecting efficient manufacture of products within a specific area of responsibility.
? Provides direction/guidance/training to engineers or technicians to continual improve on the manufacturing and assembly process, establishes check point to monitor throughput and efficiency.
? Prime for new product introduction process development and define overall product manufacturing process flow;
? Conducts feasibility studies and assembly on new and modified mechanical production;
? Compile process documentation and WI for production and be responsible for providing training to sustaining engineering and production for NPI transition;
? Participate in continuous improvements activities to improve processes and process flow;
? Calculate line capacity and verify during factory launch;
? Resolve quality issues on product;
? Interface directly with CM on related engineering issue;
? DFM for new product and work with CM directly for DFM recommendation and implementation;
? Prime to design manufacturing process related tooling and fixture.
? Provide first level technical support to manufacturing for immediate problem resolution and work with development to implement DFM and DFT lessons learnt from CM

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
? Minimum degree holder preferably of Mechanical, electrical/electronics engineering background from a recognized institute with at least 3 years working experience preferably in PCBA manufacturing environment;
? Experience in Product Process Engineering;
? Experience in high volume, consumer electronic industry;
? Experience of project management;
? Knowledge in the product design and assembly process , DFM, DFT process , MTM etc;
? Excellent interpersonal, communications, negotiation skills;
? Experience in utilizing Pro-E, AutoCad is plus;


JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor Degree above;
? Good skills in English, written and spoken;
? 3+ Years working experience in PCBA manufacturing environment is required;
? At least 2 years experience in NPI process engineering;
? Manufacturing knowledge & experience, experience in power supple manufacturing is plus.
