职位描述
Role of this position:
The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible to drive all supplier quality activities: audits, reviews, assessments and continuous improvement, to ensure supplier’s deliverables meets the requirements and expectations of Schmitz Wuhan.
Responsibility:
1.Facilitate to set up local supplier panel of Schmitz Wuhan based on localization supplier sourcing strategy.
2.Follow up supplier development progress and open issues until its closure and approved supplier PPAP in line with project timing plan.
3.Monitoring Supplier Performance Quality Rating on a monthly basis and schedule follow up audits and reviews for assigned suppliers.
4.Champion supplier PPM reductions and problem solving (i.e.focus on poor performance suppliers, critical issues, high PPM, fields returning...)
5.In charge of incoming inspection for purchasing assy/components and raw material.
6.Maintain Supplier quality documentation (Supplier APQP/PPAP files, supplier performance records, evaluations, containment activities, etc.) per supplier.
7.Facilitate Supplier's continuous improvement (e.g.VA/VE, Kaizen ...)
8.Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures.
9.Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.
10.Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree required (Engineering, Science, Technical or Business)
2. More than two years quality development or SQE experience strongly preferred
3. Experience in state of the art quality management tools such as FMEA, APQP and PPAP
4. Strong problem solving, decision making and prioritization skills required
5. Ability to read and understand engineering drawing, measurement and/or scales gauges
6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, flexible, result-oriented, team spirit
7. Good verbal and written communication skills required, Oral and written English is a must
8. Knowledge of TS16949 procedures and/or VDA 6.3 is preferred.
