- On line fashion brand with global presence and further expansion plans
- Opportunity for progression
- Monthly salary of up to 60K with 1month bonus
This company is the UK’s number one fashion and beauty destination, and as a recent survey showed, they are the second most visited fashion website on the planet. They ship to over 200 countries and have local language and specific country sites in a number of their key markets. In January 2012 they opened first international office in Sydney. Their ambition is to be the no.1 online fashion destination for 20-somethings, globally, and they have set a target to reach £1bn annual sales by 2015.
Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
- Successfully launching the local language website for China, on time and on budget
- Support the GM by contributing to the overall strategy with the objective of achieving the company ambition. As a senior member of company China, will also be expected to participate more broadly in driving the business as a whole forward
- Along with the GM, responsible for sales growth and long term profitability of the business in China
- Monitoring sales performance, recommending promotional activity as and when required
- Along with the local team and agencies develop the digital marketing & CRM strategy and plan for the team which ties to key commercial performance indicators
- Manage a sizeable budget and ensure that the digital marketing strategy is delivered within budget at target ROI
- Play a key role in defining the Company brand positioning and messaging for the Chinese market, working with both the global team to understand the brand and with the local team to develop a localized strategy based on the local proposition
- Develop and implement the Marketing and Communication plan for company in China, communicating the progress of these plans with the global team in London so that learning’s can be shared
- Drive the success of the brand in China, playing a key role in ensuring the brand DNA is represented and that all trading and marketing execution is aligned with the global strategy wherever possible
- To oversee the COMPANY China website and the continuous improvement of the content, ensuring the site is optimized to reflect our initiatives and to appeal to Chinese customers
- Working with both the global and local retail teams to manage the local Trading Calendar, generating ideas for promotional and engagement activity and managing its execution
- To work with the marketing/finance teams to assess the effectiveness of on and off-line marketing activity and establish the business case for new campaigns and promotions
- Work with Commercial Finance, Global Marketing and other relevant stakeholders during the necessary planning processes
- Keeping up to date with competitor information and market trends, evaluating this data to present recommendations and new initiatives focusing on customer needs and overall customer experience to the relevant stakeholders
- Lead, manage, develop and motivate a high performing team in accordance with COMPANY beliefs and values
- Manage the planning and execution of the company Tmall marketing strategy, creating differentiated messaging and migration plan to bring Tmall customers through to shop the brand website
Requirements:
- 4 years Bachelor degree in related major
- Above 10 years working experience
- Excellent English skills and oversea working expriences will be an asset
