Our client, a leading US plastic molding manufacturer with China HQ in Wuhan, is looking for high caliber candidate to fill the post of: -

Country Finance Head, China (base in Wuhan)

Report to : Asia Pacific Finance Director (base in Malaysia)

Supervise : Finance Team in Wuhan

Other location : Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenyang, Hubei, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Finance team for the overall management and operation of Finance & Accounting, Budgetary & Control and Taxation in China.
• Provide professional finance services and advices to lead Change Programs for all related Finance projects in China.
• Review the internal control in accordance to US GAAP, as well as the preparation of all financial reporting matters.
• Monitor and supervise the Budgetary Control and Taxation in China.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and have over 10 years post qualification experience gained from sizable MNCs with at least 5 years in senior finance post.
• Prior manufacturing experience and knowledge of the Asia market is an advantage as this position responsibilities may expanded to Asia Pacific.
• Highly exposed to a role as a Regional Finance position.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a hands-on, proactive, independent and 'team' approach are essential.
• A qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience in a multinational environment, prior experience with big4 CPAs preferred.
• Good understanding of US GAAP, SOX and familiar with China Taxation.
• Previous experience with a large ERP system (SAP and Oracle base).
• Practical experience in finance controlling and M&A projects will be a definite advantage.
• Cheerful personality, decisive and good team spirit
• Very good communication and presentation skills including fluency in ENGLISH is a must!
