Our client, a leading US plastic molding manufacturer with China HQ in Wuhan, is looking for high caliber candidate to fill the post of: -
Senior Human Resources Manager, China (base in Wuhan)
Report to : Asia Pacific HR Director (base in Hong Kong)
Supervise : HR Team in Wuhan
Other location : Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenyang, Hubei, etc.
Purpose:
- Lead the human resources team for the overall management and operation of human resources in China.
- Provide professional HR services and advices to lead Change Programs for all related HR projects and projects in China.
- Provide proactive services and advices on critical People Development Programs, talent management, performance review, salary review, recruitment and those HR Programs which require management ownership, including program introduction, coaching and counseling and site communications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, drive, and own change management program in China.
- Provide HR leadership and services to all functions/departments of China.
- Lead the recruitment in a pro-active and effective way in collaboration with the regional recruitment manager.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of people development, succession and career planning which are in line with the company’s business objectives and HR strategy, to strengthen performance driven culture in China.
- Support Regional HR Director in implementing the global learning & Development Framework, counseling and monitoring the strategic HR programs in the China organization.
- Member of the leadership team of the respective site and contribute as such to the achievements of the site goals.
- Provide appropriate advice/coach to the managers
- Prepare, develop the communication at the country level. Work in close collaboration with the global com manager and regional HR manager to ensure consistency approach on site
- Coordination with HR Share Service for the most efficient delivery of services to the entire organization.
Requirements:
- University degree major in HRM and Training with at least 5-8 years management experience in HR area preferably from MNCs background.
- Solid knowledge of HR policy and programs, as well as management approaches is crucial. Proven track record in organizational development
- Very high level of confidentiality/discretion required for handling the different HR issues.
- Assertiveness balanced by diplomatic skills.
- International HR experience would be an asset. English is a must
- Cheerful personality, decisive and good team spirit
- Very good communication and presentation skills including fluency in ENGLISH is a must!
