Assistant Marketing Services Manager, China (6 months contract)

High potential to change to permanent role !!

Report to: Regional Marketing Communications Manager, Asia Pacific

Responsibilities:

• Support a variety of trade marketing projects
• Lead the creation and implementation of trade marketing communications activities in China such as production of trade marketing collateral, product catalogues, posters, banners,etc.
• Organize and execute trade shows, KOL meetings and other external marketing events.
• Lead the creation and implementation of China website project, marketing automation content and online programs.
• Liaise and work closely with China PR agencies on PR activities.
• Support Regional Marketing Communications Manager in the annual budget planning and tracking of China Trade Marketing expenses throughout the financial year.
• Support the regional marketing communications program, with a focus on China execution, e.g. Intranet project.
• Facilitate the delivery, management, logistics and storage of collateral materials and new product samples in the region.
• Monitor China trade marketing budget and track expenses to ensure alignment with approved budget for the year.
• Process designated marketing services invoices and payments in conjunction with business services group and external vendors.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade and product marketing communication projects, event organization, online programs, PR activities or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or related field
• Practical experience in trade show, managing web site, managing marketing budgetary
• Exposure to the Business-to-Business sector
• Experience in regional marketing in MNCs or a matrix organization.
• Sound knowledge of marketing and brand management, skills in Internet marketing are also desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
• Good translation skills (from English to Chinese) is an advantage
