Directly report to Site Admin Manager
Functional report to Central China Region QA&EHS Manager

1. Faurecia EHS Requirements:

(1) Establish, maintenance and implement EHS management systems. Assist Admin Manager to develop Region annual EHS work plan.
(2) Follow up Faurecia Group EHS Requirements , Cascade to each level on site.
(3) Regularly record, analyze and report EHS performance to management and update on Faurecia EHS Shareplace systems on time.
(4) Follow up Group fire fighting management and emergency management system and be responsible for checking the fire fighting facilities and evacuation drills.

2. EHS Routine Task

(1) Regularly implement EHS related EIA/risk assessment and update relevant work instructions if necessary.
(2) Assist and/or instruct responsible people to conduct root cause analysis and make corrective and preventive action plan on near misses, first aids ,recordable accidents and any other EHS concern.
(3) Organize and perform regular EHS inspection and audit to closely monitor EHS performance and ensure proper implementation of corrective/preventive actions for non conformance found; and record changes in documented procedures if applicable.
(4) Provide needed EHS training to employees, subcontractors/suppliers and maintain the training database.
(5) Develop the personal protective equipment management system.
(6) Monitor the process of special equipment management and execute emergency drilling periodically.
(7) Monitor the process of chemical management and execute emergency drilling periodically.
(8) Provide necessary EHS support to new, modification or extension projects

3. Government Communication

(1) Timely update related EHS laws and standards and internal procedures accordingly and ensure all requirements in effective implementation.
(2) Keep close contact with local authorities (i.e. safety supervision bureau, environment protection bureau, fire fighting bureau, hygiene bureau, etc) and liaison on all aspects of EHS issues.
(3) Coordinate kinds of external audit/government audit and follow up nonconformance to close them.
(4) Coordinate all kinds of monitoring, Safety, environmental, occupational health and so on base on annual monitor plan.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering/Science and/or Safety Engineering or related discipline.
- 5 years working experience in EHS.
- Knowledge of safety & environmental engineering, Occupational Health management.
- In depth knowledge of national EHS legislation and good relationship with Authority.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Good interpersonal skills with high initiative, and able to interact effectively with management and line personnel at all levels.
- Proficiency in both written and read English.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) etc.
