Job description:

1. Reach and improve Cost – Quality – Time – Margin objectives for projects;

- Lead project team in compliance with Development guide (GDD), arbitrate decisions, with help from department heads if necessary, in order to comply with project cost, quality, time objectives.

- Lead weekly project review and check effective implementation of ensuing action plan with 1^st group circle.

- Prepare and present project gate reviews with related action plans.

- Validate project gate reviews with Plant Manager within the time frame.

- Manage modifications requested by customer or by internal department and propose technical-economic developments to improve profitability of projects.

- Determine commitment for customer modifications with Sales Representative.

- Determine commitment for internal modifications with Project team.

- Validate relevance of remaining modifications to undertake in order to ensure margin at closure

- Validate customer orders and ensure that they have been received by sales representative

- Validate commitments for Purchase requests

- Anticipate risks concerning project (technical, economic, lead times, quality) and obtain support from departments and management if deviations in carrying out project.

- Ensure process/product pre-validation of new designs

- Ensure experience capitalisation with department managers

- Implement and monitor product/process productivity plan from launch until successful realization of customer IS.

- Plan Full production runs and collect results to check the convergence of technical data / forecast

- Co-ordinate planning, manufacturing and delivery of parts requested by the customer and internal validations before being transferred to production plant with mass production facilities.

2. Ensure effective information flows.

- Update and communicate project action plan at least once a week

- Organize and lead customer project reviews. Ensure that each meeting with the customer ends with an agreement shown in a joint report including action plans, lead times and economic developments.

- Ensure effective planning for internal investment requests and participate in any developments.

- Report quality, cost, and lead time situations to programme committee monthly

3. Take part in pre-development projects

4. Take part in continuous development for Development processes.

Qualification:

Knowledge of Mechanical engineering, plastics, assembly, textile, etc

Knowledge of project management tools and methods (quality, cost, lead times, margin) in automotive industry

Knowledge of quality management, Skills in problem-solving

Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills

Team leadership capacity
