职位描述
The main role of the purchaser is to find high-quality suppliers and parts for the lowest costs. This includes every stage from finding and selecting suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts and conducting quality control on the goods.
Responsibility:
- establish the local supply chain strategy including supplier's identification, selection and purchase orders
authorization process
- initiate negotiation of price and lead time, supplier qualifications and assessments within a team environment
- management of local costs reduction initiatives
- lead necessary correctives or improvement actions for specific suppliers
- place purchase orders to ensure on time delivery of purchased materials
- manage material to meet forecasts and customer demands
- make decisions to release, firm, cancel, or defer material orders based upon current inventory, demand,
capacity, and material availability
Requirements:
- bachelor's degree in Engineering or Commercial
- 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanic industry in a field connected to industrial area i.e. purchase, quality,
production
- rich knowledge of non-production material like machines, lubricants, tooling, business travels, cars and
fasteners like srews, nut, rivets, fittings and experience in procurement. Methods of connecting different
materials like clinching desireable
- strong knowledge of cost reduction practices like cost breakdown, value engineering and re-design to cost
techniques
- able to work closely with all the others functions like quality department, research and development, in a
respectful and open minded behavior
- speed of execution, sense of urgency and priorities
- capacity of negotiation with the suppliers
- very good leadership and communication skills
- well organize, rigorous and autonomous
- good command of both written and oral English, fluent communication with foreigners
- German is a plus
